Of course, this isn't technically a sculpture, but I do think it's a work of art. My father gets all the credit for the design here. I told him that I needed a shallow, long, skinny shelf, and he plugged the numbers into a spreadsheet, and came up with this baby. Dad and I built it together, though he did the lion's share of the work. I merely assisted when my spring semester schedule allowed. It's oak.
